Tekijän ääni: SASHAPASHA
RAPPU exhibition by artist duo SASHAPASHA was part of the #CulturaFest programme in Helsinki and Vantaa 3.–5.11.2017. The installation represented an entrance to a Russian apartment block, with the elements of social communication on different levels: a door of a communal flat with doorbells, mailboxes with advertising leaflets, a staircase and a smoking area. In this context artists presented Finnish artists' projects, dealing with Russia and our common historical memory.
Exhibition was commissioned and supported by Cultural foundation. Also Adelfa Agency played a big role making great work for the festival in general and also for SASHAPASHA's project in particular. Exhibition was curated by Anastasia Isakova, specialist of Finnish language and literature, member of international group of curators P14.
Artists who kindly provided materials for the exhibition were: Veikko Björk, Heidi Hänninen, Jan Kaila, Annu Kapulainen, Petri Kaverma, Hanneriina Moisseinen, Kaisu Paavilainen & Anne Siirtola, Minna Rainio & Mark Roberts, Kimmo Sarje and Jari Silomäki.
